Namibia to take part at the Europeans

As you might have noticed on the entry list there will be at least one unusual entry for the Europeans held in the middle of Europe. That is Namibian crew of Nikolai and Pascal Allers. Their sailing record shows they are not strange to Fireball at all. With entries at major championships as Worlds at San Francisco, Engelholm, UK, Ireland, Melbourne, Durban, Switzerland or Barbados in their scoresheet they belong among the most experienced title contenders. If these guys can make it to Nove Mlyny, why would you sit at home?
Early entry fee period extended for the last time

The Fireballs play at Mid Week Party

The Fireballs is a rock'n'roll sextet based in Brno. Since its start at 2001 the group reached the total of 500 shows in the Czech Republic and all around Europe. The repertoire involves mainly songs from the classic rock'n'roll era and there is also a wide range of rhythm'n'blues and jump blues numbers. You'll hear the best cuts from Bill Haley, Chuck Berry, Fats Domino, Jerry Lee Lewis, The Jodimars, Louis Jordan, The Treniers and others. Moreover, there are some newer, some older and some original songs. The band is well known for its authentic sound, swing, image and explosive stage show. You'll see also some vintage gear - a collection of 50s microphones, Trixon Speedfire bass drum and a German PA from 1959 including the necessary tape echo. Read more at www.fireballs.cz.

Wyprahlo plays for the Fireballers

Legendary band "Wyprahlo" (meaning "dry spell") comprised of former and current sailors will perform at the closing ceremony after the prizegiving of the 2010 Fireball Europeans. The Fireball ambassador to the band, Petr Sklenar, has confirmed their appearance on behalf of the group. Consequently, we can look forward to the brilliant show well-known from the sailing parties of the current past...
Krušovice brewery - regatta partner

August 2nd, 2010 Royal brewery Krušovice, belonging among the oldest breweries in the Czech Republic and with the tradition dating back to 1581, became an official supplier of beer to the 2010 Fireball European Championship.
